Team Husky displays at Oakville Fire Department event.

Sept 29/07- Wow what an event for the community. Oakville Fire Department put on a display of Fire and water demonstration, Fire trucks from Toronto Airport and huge ladder trucks that took people up to look at the event from up top. The CAA also had a Ford truck roll simulator that would show people what happens in the event of an accident with not having your seatbelt on. They had a training course for kids with tires to run through and a dummy to rescue and then a fire to put out at the end. They also had a water rescue display.

Face painting and Home Depot kids workshop with building a fire truck were a huge hit with the kids. 3500 to 4000 hotdogs drinks and snacks kept everyone happy. When all was looked at they strolled down to look at the Husky Dragsters where tons of tattoos and autographs were handed out. Shawna did a little run with her dragster which was a real crowd pleaser
