Team Husky visits Cayuga Secondary School

Over the summer I was approached by Penny Medeiros a teacher from Cayuga Secondary School asking if I could come to the school and speak to the students about a few important subjects. Street Racing, Drinking and Driving, Determination and Career Oportunities.

Over 300 students attended my presentation where I showed them that I am just and everyday person just like them. I told the students that there was a time that I stood exacatly were their standing and even at their age I knew what I wanted to do with my life.

I reminded them that their parents, teachers and other superiors have years of experience and knowledge that they should absorb as much as possible. "The knowledge you gain now will all lmake sense in your later years."

After speaking to the students we had a question period and I was very surprised with all of the well thought out questions they had for me. However, there was one queston I could'nt answer..."If I could be someone else who would I be?" I am happy for what I have accomplished in my life so far.
